Jon Fuller

Jon has been exploring and photographing the Moab area for more than 30 years and has been a Moab resident since 1992. He is a working free-lance stock photographer, represented by stock agencies in London, Tokyo, and the U.S., and is a member of the North American Nature Photographers Association (NANPA). His first published photo was a two-page spread in National Geographic Magazine in January 1983. He has since been published numerous times world-wide, from the Singapore Times and Ranger Rick Magazine to Geomundo and the Insight Guide Books. His work also appears in the Ancient Images Greeting Card line, www.ancientimagescards.com.. He has traveled extensively internationally and has photographed in more than 40 countries, but his favorite subject is still the Colorado Plateau. He has planned and guided small private photographic tours to England & Scotland, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Australia, and New Zealand, but is concentrating now on local tours in the Moab area.

Jon is founding partner in the Moab Paper Company and was a member of the board of directors of Moab Paper until its recent sale to Legion Paper. Needless to say, his fine art prints are printed exclusively on Moab Paper’s Entrada Fine Art. He shoots primarily in digital 35mm, but still uses film for certain subjects.

He has a great sense of humor, loves meeting people, and works hard to ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe experience with Moab Photo Tours, while working to help you get the ‘shot of a lifetime.’ He loves to share his knowledge of photography and the Moab area with anyone who will listen!
